Nepal was struck by devastating earthquake measuring 7.9 on the richter scale AT 11.56AM on Saturday 25th of April 2015. The epicenter was at Gorkha District, 60 miles North West of capital Kathmandu.
One of the many areas that has serious damages is in Ranipani Village Development Committee Parbat District. Many houses have been beyond repair. The only Lower Secondary School in the area has also been badly damaged. Children of the school have had to study under the Trapoline shelters.
The Eifion Trust provided funding to help rebuild Four class rooms, including new roofing and furniture at Shree Janata Lower Secondary School, Ranipani, Parbat District.
